Lilytopia Shawl
This lightweight round shawl in lustrous cotton from Blue Heron Yarns was inspired by a festival at Longwood Gardens, a horticultural showplace in Pennsylvania’s Brandywine Valley. Subtle color gradations in the yarn move from coral to apricot, adding depth and definition to the stitches.
Sonata Shawl
This lightweight wrap is crocheted in several stitch patterns that enhance each other beautifully, like the movements of a sonata. The effect of the hand-dyed Blue Heron Egyptian Mercerized cotton yarn is subtle and unique. Pair it with anything from jeans to a little black dress for a touch of elegance.
Flamenco Flung
“Spanish Dancer” laceweight yarn from Blue Heron Yarns is worked in broomstick lace to create this colorful and comfortable shawl. Stitches are decreased so the top is narrower than the bottom. Fling this shawl over your shoulder, and the resulting gathers resemble a rose.
Fanette Shawl
Silk and Silver yarn from Blue Heron Yarns has an elegant shimmer and a beautiful drape. Three-stitch fans in Tunisian crochet are lacy and open to keep this wrap light and comfortable. It is finished with a simple arch trim along the bottom hem.
