CAST ON: This is a triangular shawl. It is knit in garter stitch and a lacey pattern stitch. Cast on 3stitches with the Beaded Wool and knit one row. Turn and cast on one stitch by inserting the needle between the first two stitches and pulling the yarn through. Put the new stitch on the needle. Keep this stitch loose so that the shawl does not pull up at the sides. You are making a diagonal line here and you need some extra stretch. Knit the row.
GARTER STITCH PATTERN: Cast on one new stitch with #9 needles and knit
to the end of the row. This creates the increases that make the shawl triangular.
LACEY STITCH PATTERN:
Row 1: *Knit 1 stitch, wrap the yarn around the needle from back to front across
the top.* Repeat to the end of the row and knit the last stitch.
